How do I start the floral planning process?

We ask our clients to begin their journey with a thoughtful response to our wedding questionnaire. Through this process we’ll gain insight into the overarching details of your event, such as color palette, scale of arrangements, and season, all of which will help us refine and execute your vision. Upon recieval of the questionnaire, we’ll then schedule a consultation.

 

What if I am planning my wedding from a distance? 

Not a problem! We make sure that our long distance couples receive the same attention and dedicated care as our local ones. This is where resources like the wedding questionnaire, along with visual inspirations, will be most helpful in bridging the gap of distance. Our team will be there to offer support throughout your planning process, utilizing communication methods that work best for you.

 

How far before my wedding should I start making detailed floral plans?

The specific time frame for floral planning varies greatly, from several months to a year before one’s event. Confirming one's venue and color palette prior to solidifying floral plans is of great importance, as both of these factors will greatly impact flower selection. As wedding season books quickly, confirming floral plans as far in advance as possible will help ensure our availability for your date.

What information can I provide to facilitate the detailed planning process?

Visual references are the most helpful information that you can provide about your wedding! We love to see the styles that delight your heart, and would love to explore any inspiration boards you’ve gathered images for, or help you build one! Through this process we’ll hone in on your creative vision, then work through the process of selecting flora that meets your budget, to create arrangements that are a clear reflection of your floral plans.

How can I maximize my wedding flower budget?

Prioritizing which elements are most important to you, and allowing flexibility with the flora selected, are two key ways to maximize your floral budget. Are the bouquets where you want to allocate the most funds? Or do you dream of a show stopping botanical installation? Depending on seasonality, we can offer suggestions for selecting flora that will most align with your budget.

 

We also provide an array of rentals, including arches, chuppas, centerpiece stands, and candle holders, which can also help support a cost conscious budget. And in some cases, we’re able to repurpose the flowers from your ceremony to your reception.
